The same DIN-mounted RS485 bridge with a 10 A relay in place of the CAN bus, so it can act as well as read. Isolated RS485 in, one switched output out, and both reachable from the platform.
The variant for when monitoring is not enough. One isolated RS485 bus in, one 10 A relay out, both driven from the platform — so a reading can trigger an action without anyone attending the site. Otherwise identical to the CAN variant.

Immersion heaters, EV chargers and storage heaters can be held off until a cheap period and released remotely. The relay drives a contactor rated for the load; the bridge only ever switches the coil.
Routers, controllers and small machines that lock up occasionally get a scheduled or on-demand reset. Behind an IESG-R250 the command still gets through when the equipment's own connection is down.
