IEMTR-EM4423-L

The three-phase meter over LoRaWAN, for incomers and three-phase plant on sites with no network at all. Same four-module body, CTs or Rogowski coils on one lead, and per-phase readings every five minutes through a LoRaWAN gateway that can be in the next building.

What it is

Three-phase metering where there is no network

Pumping stations, remote plant, temporary supplies and sites whose owners will not give you a port. This meter sends its per-phase readings over LoRaWAN to an IESG-M52 or IESG-M52-4G; RS485 and the relay stay on the meter for whatever is wired next to it. Same body and inputs as the IEMTR-EM4423-W.

  1. Meters a three-phase supply in 3P4W, 3P3W or single-phase wiring, selected on the front
  2. Takes split-core 80 or 100 A CTs, or Rogowski coils from 400 to 3000 A, on one plug-in lead
  3. Sends per-phase voltage, current, power, power factor and energy over LoRaWAN every five minutes
  4. Accepts a downlink that changes the reporting interval, from one minute to weeks
  5. Keeps RS485 Modbus, S0 pulses and a 3 A relay for local reading and control

Scenario 01 · unattended sites

Pumping stations, masts, remote plant

Three-phase supplies at sites nobody visits. The meter reports over LoRaWAN to a gateway that can be a kilometre away, and the gateway carries it out on 4G with no site network involved.

pairs with IESG-M52-4G
Scenario 02 · temporary supplies

Metering that moves with the job

Construction sites, events and temporary builder's supplies. The meter and gateway go in with the distribution board and come out with it; nothing is left behind and nothing needs a network engineer.

pairs with IESG-M52-4G · IEMTR-EM165-L for sub-circuits
Scenario 03 · wi-fi excluded

Where Wi-Fi is not allowed

Sites whose IT policy forbids unmanaged Wi-Fi devices, or plant rooms that block it. LoRaWAN is a separate radio on a separate band, and the gateway is the only device touching the network.

Branding and finish

Your logo and product name on the label and the packaging, and your details on anything the end customer reads.

Software and firmware

Joined to the platform's network server before it ships, on the EU868 plan with the reporting interval you want, so it starts sending the moment it is powered near a gateway.

Documentation and support

Installation instructions and a CT and Rogowski selection guide in your name, plus a note on where the antenna goes.
